Highlighting the Women's Role in Giving a Human Face to "Fight Against Extremism"
“Mothers on Air” undertaken by Uks Research Centre in Pakistan. The project aimed to highlight the voices of mothers whose sons had either gotten involved in terrorist activities or were vulnerable to do so. The aim was to empower other women through the experiences of these mothers in identifying early warning signs or behaviours and to curb such activities in the beginning.

Women need to be at all tiers of production of media content so that the perspectives of almost half the population of the country are understood and taken account of.
